Our City Studios are designed to offer a quieter and more private stay, which is why they face the internal shaft or are frosted to provide more privacy from the residential building next door. This is reflected in our marketing, and guests are always welcome to contact us before booking if they have specific view or layout preferences. The flashing light on the fire alarm is part of the system’s normal operation and indicates that it’s functioning correctly, but we understand this can be bothersome for some guests. If you prefer more natural light and an outward‑facing aspect, we recommend our City Studio - City View rooms, which overlook the pedestrian‑only riverside path and offer a brighter, more open feel.
