Whitworth Locke doesn't have its own parking. We recommend Euro Car Parks at Pritchard St (M1 7DA) only a few minutes' walk away.
From Manchester Airport:
You can take a taxi from the airport to Whitworth Locke. This will take around 30 - 40 minutes (depending on traffic) and cost between £20 - £30.
For a cheaper option, you can also take the train to Manchester Oxford Road or Piccadilly Train Stations. Trains usually run from the airport every 15 minutes and it takes around 15 - 25 minutes depending on which route you take. Single train tickets to the city centre from the airport cost between £3.50 and £5.
From Manchester Picadilly Station (Whitworth Street East): If you're coming from Picadilly Train Station, exit via any entrance and make your way towards Fairfield Street Which merges onto Whitworth Street. On this 10 minute walk you will pass by the Base Kamp Cafe and Bar, the Alan Turing Memorial Park and Manchester New Sqare. Whitworth Locke is located on the right hand side.
From Manchester Oxford Road Station (whitworth Street West): If youre coming from Manchester Oxford Road Sation, exit via the main entrance and walk down the slope onto Whitworth Street, take a right turn and walk for 5 minutes past the Palace Theatre towards Princess Street. Whitworth Locke is located on the left hand side corner of Whitworth Street and Princess Street.
From Manchester Victoria Station (Princess Street North): If you're coming from Victoria Train Station, exit onto Corporation Street and head south into the city. You'll walk past the National Football Museum, Exchange Square and Selfridges. The road will merge onto Cross Street, keep walking for 10 minutes on this road until you reach the town hall. Taking a left turn here will lead onto Princess Street which is a straight 10 minutes walk to the hotel. You'll walk past St Peter's Square, Chinatown and The Village. Whitworth Locke is located on the right-hand side on the corner of princess street and Whitworth Street.
From Euro Car Park Pritchard Street (Princess Street South): From Exiting Euro Car Parks Pritchard Street take a left turn and walk to the traffic lights. Take another left turn onto Princess Street and walk up for about 3 minutes, walking past Spar convenience store and Asia House. Whitworth Locke is located across the Whitworth Street junction traffic lights on the left hand side.
The Manchester City Visitor Charge is a small fee of £1 + VAT per room or unit per night that is added to the final bill for guests staying in paid accommodation within the Manchester ABID zone.
