Ways to travel to Cambridge.

If you’re planning on driving to Turing Locke, we are within easy reach of local road links, including the M11 and A14.

By Train.

Cambridge Train Station is the main hub for the city. You can hop on a direct train from London that'll get you here in just 48 minutes. Plus, there are direct connections from other cities like Birmingham, Norwich, Peterborough, and Leicester.

To get to Eddington from the station, you can use one of the e-scooters or bikes outside the station, which will take around 20 minutes or you can get the U bus that will drop you right outside the hotel.

By Air.

If you're planning to come to Cambridge by air, the best airport to fly into is London Stansted. You can easily take a train which only takes 28 minutes. If you're driving, it's even more convenient - It only takes 40 minutes to reach Cambridge from the airport.

Ways to travel locally.

By Bus.

The Universal bus service links Eddington with West Cambridge, the city centre, the train station and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, including Addenbrookes, running every 15 minutes Monday to Friday and every 20 minutes at the weekend. The standard single journey fare is £2.00 and the bus stops right outside the hotel.

Madingley Park and Ride is only a seven-minute walk from the property and stops at multiple locations within the city centre. The bus takes 12 minutes to get to central Cambridge and only 6 minutes to Bridge Street.

By Bike.

Cambridge is a 10-minute bike ride from the hotel via a dedicated cycle path into the city. We have a limited number of bicycles available for use and a bicycle centre to store your own bikes. Get in touch with us before your visit or speak to one of the team at reception upon check in. E-bikes and e-scooters can be found around Cambridge, including in Eddington.

By Taxi.

Taxis are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week and you can have in the city centre within a few minutes. Just ask our hosts to help book you a taxi and get you on your way.
