What is the Lisbon 'Taxa Turística' and how much is it?

Starting September 1, 2024, Lisbon will have a City Tourist Tax (Taxa Turística) of €4.00 per person per night for the first 7 nights of your stay. This is an increase from the previous rate of €2.00.
